Coaching with Daffnee Cohen

Daffnee Cohen

Hi

My name is Daffnee Cohen and I will begin by telling you that I made (and still make) A LOT of mistakes. It’s my claim to fame! Here’s what I’ll add to that —> You will rarely meet someone who works harder, more diligently, or more positively than I do. And that is the claim to fame I actually care about.

The second thing I want to share with you is that my entire approach to coaching and consulting is simple: Lead with empathy, and work hard.

I am not here to judge you in ways that won’t support you or better you. I’ve made mistakes that I’m not proud of, even if they helped me learn. We are all human. We are all doing our best. That I believe. And if you aren’t, maybe you just need the right support. I got you.

We are parents, caregivers, employees, contractors, business owners, gym goers, grocery shoppers, laundry doers, and just about everything else under the sun. The fact that you wake up each day and try is really something to be proud of within itself. I promise, I mean that.

Yes, I will share exactly how we can work together, but quickly, let me share my why. I think you’ll find it relatable.

I’m Here Now

For the past decade, I have owned and operated a digital marketing firm. It’s my bread and butter. I adore it. I love it. I love my team. I love my clients. I am damn proud of what we have and continue to accomplish. It’s my JAM.

Throughout the years, there have been moments where I find myself HIGH on the work I’m doing. I find myself leading, coaching, listening, and motivating teams and when that’s happening, time stands still. I am excited. I am amped up. And the receiving end feels.the.same.

The thing is, I never fully honed in on what I was feeling. It was part of the meeting. Part of the work. Right?

Wrong.

Amidst the chaos of work and life, I wasn’t nurturing the THING I was meant to be doing. And here we are.

It was an AHA moment, and man am I grateful for it.

I can’t say it enough, but I am exactly where I need to be, helping those I need to be helping, in the way I am MEANT to be helping. It’s gold.

The Questions

  • Is it a business?
  • Is it a hobby?
  • Do I have time to make this happen?
  • What if it fails?
  • Do I have the right team of people to help me do it?
  • What if there’s too much competition?
  • How will this make me money?
  • Am I nurturing my leads in the best possible way?
  • Scratch that...there’s WAY too much competition.
  • Things are going ok. Can they go even better?
  • Am I even profiting after all is said and done?
  • What the hell is my team even doing right now?
  • Is this the best use of my time?
  • What am I trying to accomplish this year?
  • I have no business experience, how can I pull this off?

Ok, I think you get it. That’s my braindump of SOME (yep, there were more) of the questions I’ve asked myself over the last decade of work. Some of them came and went. Some of them held me down in ways you wouldn’t believe (or maybe you can, and that’s why you’re here).

My Goals for You... For Us

I want to work with you to get to exactly where you want to be. To get there with a real plan. To make you feel good about that plan. To make you feel proud of that plan. To wake up every day excited as all hell to implement that plan.

It’s that simple

My Method is Unique

Coaching tends to be more of a “walk with you” approach while Consulting tends to be more of a let me “lead you on that walk” approach. Both are awesome, needed, and effective. But one or the other just didn’t sit right with me.

How could I possibly tell you what’s best for you without having you walking alongside?

How could I make sturdy and effective recommendations without input from the person who built it, dreamed it, and lived it?

How could I help you achieve your goals without allowing you to create ambitious goals?

I didn’t end up coming up with a fancy name. And here we are. I’m doing both. I’m coaching you and I’m consulting with you. And it freaking works.

Transparent. Measured. Accountable.

These are the characteristics needed to really make change and make them stick.

These efforts combined bridge the gap between your knowledge and skillset as the leader of your business, and my expertise and experience in this space to create a powerful and effective plan.

Are We a Good Fit? Is This for Me?

One thing I am NOT in the business of is taking people’s money for the fun of it. I also don’t enjoy creating unrealistic expectations for anyone. It usually doesn’t end well for both parties. If you know me or have worked with me in the past, I start every call with “I am brutally honest and transparent.” (oo oo, another claim to fame!).

While I lead every single component of my work with compassion and empathy, I do not mess around with good old fashioned tough love and accountability. It’s simple. You either want to see the change or you don’t. And if you think you do but just haven’t made it happen yet, well, that’s why I’m here.

Here’s the thing about this work. There’s always a solution…for everything. Yes, literally everything. And the solution may not be what you want to hear right away. It may be challenging. It may take more time than you want. Or more resources. But if you want to play the long game of a booming ass business, then it’s time to pull our big girl pants up and do the work. **Hint hint, I can help you with all of it but the pants are up to you **

Frequently Asked Questions

Every business is different and everyone approaches their strategy on their own timeline. While the relationship encourages staying dedicated and consistent, what may take one person a week to implement may take another two. While it sounds obvious, the more you put into these efforts, the more you get out.

Right away. Even the smallest of changes can start to impact your business positively and I see this regularly.

No. The commitment comes down to what you want to put in and what you want to see come out of it. This opportunity is about finding honest ways to stay accountable, creative, and productive. This is your business. There are no long term contracts in this relationship.

There is room for everyone in this space. It applies to you and your business and to my own. I’m driven and I’m motivated but I’m not in the business of putting other businesses down for my own gain. I can only speak to what I know makes me unique and what I feel passionate about.

My approach leads with empathy and with compassion. Tough love YES, but in a way that’s productive and fresh. I’m a mom, philanthropist, entrepreneur, athlete, wife, and more. I do my best to learn as much as possible from every opportunity and from every mistake and consciously turn those into ways to improve and be better. That’s what makes me unique. I believe that sometimes circumstances are out of our control. How we move forward IS, however, in our control. I’ve also taken my own business as well as several of my clients from $0 in income to 6 and 7 figure incomes. I’m here to make it happen with you.

It’s not EASY to make big changes. To do huge things. I know. I still think it’s challenging every single day. But the hard part doesn’t have to come from doing it alone or not knowing where to go next. The most challenging things are always the most rewarding.

I’d love to work with you.

To your ongoing absolute best professional (and personal) self,
