Content Account Manager (Digital Marketing)

Part-Time | 25+ hours/week | $30–$33/hr | Remote

DC Marketing is a boutique digital marketing agency serving healthcare practitioners and professionals. We create thoughtful, strategic, data-informed content — not trend chasing — and prioritize clarity, compliance, and patient education over gimmicks. Our clients trust us because we combine creativity with precision, professionalism, and a deeply human approach.

We’re looking for an experienced, highly organized, self-starting Content Account Manager to lead content execution for client accounts. This is a role for someone who is equal parts creative and strategic — someone who understands marketing fundamentals, writes exceptionally well, and can manage content with confidence, intention, and impeccable follow-through.

You will be the person guiding weekly content output, managing editorial calendars, creating e-blasts, and ensuring each client’s messaging is consistent, polished, and aligned with their goals. This role requires strong communication, fast thinking, independence, and an ability to thrive in a structured, process-driven environment.

What You’ll Own

  • Manage all content-related tasks for assigned client accounts
  • Create weekly social media content (copy + graphics; static + video/reels)
  • Write, design, and schedule e-blasts and ongoing email campaigns
  • Maintain and update monthly editorial calendars
  • Manage community engagement including comment and message moderation
  • Update bios, headshots, cover images, and Google Business listings as needed
  • Conduct light content research (hashtags, topic ideas, angles for education or engagement)
  • Collaborate closely with the internal team via email, Slack, and Voxer
  • Provide quick, thoughtful solutions to content or strategy questions as they arise
  • Represent the agency with professionalism, warmth, and clarity in all client interactions

You’re a Great Fit If You Have…

  • Direct experience in digital marketing and content creation
  • Exceptional writing and grammar skills (non-negotiable)
  • Strong people skills and the ability to communicate with clients confidently and compassionately
  • Solid understanding of digital campaigns (social media, email, newsletters, content planning, engagement)
  • Ability to think quickly, creatively, and strategically — not trend-hopping, but building content that actually converts
  • Strong organization, self-management, and the ability to juggle multiple clients without micromanagement
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset — a true go-getter who sees what needs to be done and does it
  • A positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to contribute meaningfully to our team culture

Tools You’ll Use

  • Canva (must have strong proficiency)
  • Mailchimp / Klaviyo / similar email platforms
  • Basic WordPress (primarily to upload blogs)
  • Instagram / Meta + Meta Scheduler
  • Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Tasks)
  • Google My Business

Compensation & Commitment

  • $30-$33
  • 25+ hours/week with plenty of room to grow

Daily/Weekly Responsibilities

Email & Campaigns

  • Build and update editorial calendars
  • Write intros, descriptions, and campaign copy
  • Brainstorm engagement ideas and funnel-supporting content
  • Plan for promotions or clinic-specific campaigns

Social Media & Google Business

  • Create mixed media content weekly for each client (static, carousel, video)
  • Implement existing templates to streamline design
  • Moderate comments and messages
  • Batch-create content for efficiency
  • Update bios, images, and profiles as needed
  • Research and apply relevant hashtags
  • Reply to and manage Google reviews

Team Communication & Support

  • Act as point person for content-related strategy questions
  • Address issues or challenges promptly and professionally
  • Maintain timely communication with the internal team and clients
